MERIDIAN, Idaho (CBS2) — A youth baseball team from Meridian is leaving on Wednesday for the Cal-Ripken World Series.
Opening ceremonies are on Friday, then the games start.
A schedule of the team's first three games is below:
- Aug. 6 at 10 a.m.: New Hampshire's Winchester Sachems 10U v.s. Meridian Select 10U, Jerry Ross Park PHG (Major) Field
- Aug. 7 at 12:15 p.m.: Australia's Aussie Drop Bears 10U v.s. Meridian Select 10U, Jerry Ross Park PHG (Major) Field
- Aug. 8 at 7 p.m.: Meridian Select 10U v.s. Indiana's Crown Point Bulldogs White 10U, Jerry Ross Park PHG (Major) Field
The results of these three games will determine the team's bracket moving forward.
