United Planet offers remote placements for students and professionals from all over the world. We are calling high school students (from 16 years old), university students, graduates, working professionals, and retirees to join us as we rise up to today’s challenges.
Take part in our virtual internships and volunteer opportunities, wherein you apply existing skills and learn new ones while working for an international organization from your own home. We have three main project areas you can get involved in:
- Global Health
- Environmental Sustainability
- Children and Education
With the recent pandemic, we will support each other and build an entirely new level of partnerships from all corners of the globe. United Planet Virtual Quests feature the same qualities as our in-person programs abroad. You will dive into authentic, immersive experiences and receive everything necessary to succeed in the placement. Most importantly, you will work with our partner community or organization to ensure a relevant and impactful experience.
Virtual Interns are able to receive course credit through United Planet's relationship with Portland State University.
