Smiths Ferry, ID (CBS2) — Idaho State Police are working on a crash involving three vehicles on Highway 55 near Smiths Ferry.
ISP says the accident involves a car, a semi-truck carrying sand, and a pickup truck towing a boat.
According to ISP the semi-truck rolled and is partially hanging off the embankment. The driver of the pickup truck has been airlifted to a hospital for treatment.
Highway 55 is completely blocked and will remain closed for the next 2-3 hours. Drivers should find a different route.
